How I love this book. Let me count the ways. Everyone I know wants to be a writer, and yet it is a path full of rejection loss and angst. No one ever talks about that. Marche takes this on with a funny genius, exploring the shitty lives of famous writers. You will laugh, you will weep. You will still want to write once you’ve finished reading, which is the miracle.
